బీహార్‌లో దారుణ ఘటన చోటుచేసుకుంది. ఈస్ట్ చంపారన్ జిల్లా మధుబన్ పోలీస్ స్టేషన్ పరిధిలో అక్టోబర్ 14వ తేదీ తెల్లవారుజామున ఓ మహిళపై 8 మంది అఘాయిత్యానికి పాల్పడ్డారు. వివరాల్లోకి వెళ్తే.. ఇటీవలే వివాహం చేసుకున్న జంట దసరా నవరాత్రుల సందర్భంగా దుర్గామాత దర్శనం కోసం కలిసి బయటకు వెళ్లారు. అమ్మవారి పూజా కార్యక్రమాలను పూర్తి చేసుకుని తిరిగి ఇంటికి వస్తుండగా.. మార్గమధ్యంలో ఎనిమిది మంది దుండగులు వారి దారిని అడ్డుకున్నారు. ముందుగా వారిని భయపెట్టి.. వారి వద్ద ఉన్న మొబైల్ ఫోన్‌ను బలవంతంగా లాక్కున్నారు. అంతేకాకుండా తమకు వెంటనే డబ్బులు ఇవ్వాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు.

On the night of October 18, 2026, in Banjariya Sareh village under Madhuban Police Station, a husband and wife returning from a Dussehra (Durga Puja) fair were allegedly stopped by a group of young men on a deserted road around 4 AM. The men are accused of assaulting both, holding the husband hostage, dragging the woman into a nearby orchard, and gang-raping her in front of her husband.
Police, with help from Shyampur Bhatha Police Station in Sheohar district, swiftly arrested all eight accused. Madhuban Police registered Case No. 363/26 under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (including those related to rape, gang rape, assault, and related offences). Investigation and further legal proceedings are ongoing.

తమ వద్ద అంత డబ్బు లేదని చెప్పినప్పటికీ వదిలిపెట్టలేదు. ఆ తర్వాత ఆ దంపతులిద్దరినీ ఈడ్చుకుంటూ సమీపంలోని ఓ మామిడి తోటలోకి బలవంతంగా తీసుకెళ్లారు. భర్త ఎదురుగానే భార్యపై ఎనిమిది మంది అఘాయిత్యానికి ఒడిగట్టారు. ఆ తర్వాత భర్త మొబైల్ తీసుకుని ఆన్‌లైన్ పేమెంట్ ద్వారా బలవంతంగా రూ.3 వేల నగదును తమ ఖాతాలోకి ట్రాన్స్‌ఫర్ చేసుకున్నారు. ఆ తర్వాత అక్కడి నుంచి పరారయ్యారు. బాధితులు స్థానిక మధుబన్ పోలీస్ స్టేషన్‌లో ఫిర్యాదు చేయడంతో విషయం వెలుగులోకి వచ్చింది. ఈ ఘటనపై పోలీసులు కేసు నమోదు చేసి దర్యాప్తు చేపట్టారు. అయితే అఘాయిత్యానికి పాల్పడిన వారిలో చిన్న వయస్సుకు చెందిన వారే ఎక్కువ మంది ఉన్నారు. అంబికేశ్ తివారి (38), రింకీ కుమార్ (19), అంకుశ్ కుమార్ (19), రాహుల్ కుమార్ (19), కంచన్ కుమార్ (18), మున్నా కుమార్ (18), రణ్‌ధీర్ కుమార్ (20), అమిత్ కుమార్ (18) ఈ అఘాయిత్యానికి పాల్పడినట్లు పోలీసులు గుర్తించారు. ప్రస్తుతం వీరిని పోలీసులు అరెస్టు చేశారు.
